I’m Product-focused Software Engineer with 4 years of product development experience and 4 years of software engineering experience.
In my role at IRU, I lead backend initiatives to optimize large-scale datasets, clean millions of stale records, and implement safeguards that improve system health and reliability. I contribute to full-stack development for dashboards and data-heavy visualizations, partnering with product and frontend teams to ensure performant and accurate features. My work spans React, TypeScript, Python, and Kafka, helping deliver user-focused tools while maintaining system scalability and stability.
Previously at Markforged, I became a go-to resource for React, led migration of legacy code to modern technologies (React, TypeScript, PlotlyJS), integrated Stripe for payments, and developed multi-endpoint REST APIs to automate client upload and 3D printing workflows. I also optimized backend performance for faster dashboards and user experiences. My stack included React, Typescript, and Node.js.
As the founder of Stylish Hippie, I built a successful online store specializing in high-end designer and vintage women's fashion with an emphasis on sustainability. Owning and operating the business has given me hands-on experience with product workflows, customer experience, and scaling operations, while reinforcing my commitment to creating solutions that deliver value and positive impact.
